disneyland

holding on for dear life

this tunnel sure is dark!

Friday was Kim's birthday, and we were able to join her and her family and friends for a day at the Happiest Place on Earth. The girls continued to be their usual selves, Morgan loving the rides and Amelia tightly hugging my neck through most of them. Some other friends and relations met up with us for dinner at Downtown Disney where we all enjoyed a very windy meal outside, nonetheless delicious!

Other news this past week... we had a quick visit from Pa Pa and Uncle Nick before they had to catch an early morning flight. Uncle Nick brought Amelia the cutest little pink cowboy boots. There are even a few little stars that light up when she walks around in 'em. Her legs are a little bit wide for them to zip up comfortably, but we'll have fun with them anyway! I didn't get a great picture of them, but this should suffice:

We also had a nice visit from Ya Ya, Aunt Lindsay and Gene on Saturday. Our usual Saturday lunch walk down to El Burrito Jr. was a little extra toasty as we're getting our annual January hot streak. Felt good though! Amelia was amped up all day playing and showing off for everyone. The fam stayed around for dinner and then headed home after it was time for Amelia to go to bed. We're thankful to have family that lives close enough to visit us often!
