he eats!
Our little fella started eating rice cereal a couple weeks ago. I've been trying to put it off because he's already growing up too quickly for my standards (and his robust appearance told us he was doing fine in the food department), but alas, I guess he has to progress like the rest of 'em.

the turkey leg
Cheesy. I know, but I just couldn't help myself. We headed back to Spokane after meeting Uncle Drew for lunch in Coeur d'Alene and started preparing for the Thanksgiving feast. Jake and Emily joined us for the day and endured our family and playing games (but it paid off, right Emily?). : ) The trip went by too fast as usual, but we're so glad we were able to go up and spend time with everyone.
Four generations.
Stay tuned for one of these every time we go up there! :)

the second leg
Next stop: one night in Spokane. We were glad that Erin and Stacey could join us for dinner and see how weird our children are (well, child in this case). The next morning we were able to stop in and see GG Marti on our way to meeting. She was starting to feel better and we were glad to be able to spend a little time with her. She of course spoiled Amelia with a cookie! : )
Later that afternoon we hit the road and headed to a little cabin at beautiful Priest Lake in Northern Idaho. We had a nice dinner at the lodge and spent most of the rest of the time staring at the fireplace and relaxing.

the first leg
The kids and I flew to the Portland area to visit all of our relations there. We had so much fun visiting everyone... next time we'll have to plan a few more days so we can spend more time with everyone!
