One more: Caleb & Janie's wedding

This was back on the Fourth of July. A fun evening in Walla Walla celebrating the marriage of Caleb & Janie.

These girls were happy to see each other two weekends in a row!

Ditto for the rest of the kids. :)

The bride and groom and their delicious, beautiful cupcakes.

The Moscow-teers. :)
We all graduated over 12 years ago (give or take) from U of Idaho and it was so nice to see these fella's again!

Spokane: Even More!

Breakfast with cousin Emily!

Amelia is convinced she will be babysitting this cutie pie next year when we go (but Mom, her mom said I could!).

Even when it's hot out, Grandpa will make a fire for smores.

Prep for a backyard reception for Drew & Elaine.

Uncle Dave bought the kids treats from the ice cream truck.

The beginnings of the buffet table.
My two guys before the guests arrived.
Dad's '38 Schwinn makes another wedding reception appearance.

I'm know Grandma was so happy to see Drew with his bride!

Drew & Elaine with Janie & Caleb (they got married the week after Drew & Elaine). :)

Spokane: Farmin'

It's tradition now, the third annual cherry picking event in the Palouse. Thanks to Patricia, we get great cherries for a great deal, and there were loads of them this year! We scaled back our take-home this year and did about 30 lbs (last year it was 100 lbs!). The kids did great, and Aunt Elaine joined us this year too. :)

We also had the opportunity to visit the Dobbin's farm for dinner. David gave Wyatt a ride in his HUGE tractor and Wyatt even got to steer (yikes!). And for those of you reading this from the mid-west, never fear, he has John Deere in his collection too. ;)

Spokane: Hazel's Creek

There is a natural open space area close to Dad and Mom's house that we decided to check out on a really, really, hot day. If you walk there early in the morning or later in the evening, you might see a deer or two, and avoid heat stroke. It's a pretty neat place to explore if you're ever in the area. :)

Spokane, Part I

Okay, it's time to start knocking these blog posts out. Since I don't print pictures or make digital albums, someday I'll want to look back on these. After the wedding, Nathan drove home and the kids and I drove to Spokane with my parents. Following are a bunch of pictures kicking off our month long stay there.

It was so great to see my friend, Jill, she was "home" from Thailand where she serves the Lord with her husband and kiddos.

We headed to the Stateline Speedway for some patriotic early stock car racing with a demolition derby to boot!

Fun with some neighbors from the North (in other words, our Canadian neighbor's relatives).
We attended the library story time and as a bonus we got in on their build-a-thon a few times.
Straws and connectors are so fun!
Making daddy proud.
A Spokane summer is never complete without swimming at Arla's!
Exploring at Mobius Science Center

It's a bonus to run into friends there!

Transmitting sound through metal or something like that.
The traditional shortbread cookie from GG Marti.
I'm sad to report I didn't get a photo of her with the kids this time. :(
Lake Coeur d'Alene.
Wyatt and his cute buddy!
Aunt Elaine braving the cold water (it actually felt great on this hot, hot day) with her new niece and nephew.
Slurpees on 7/11.
Getting to drink soda (gasp!) and eat a Dick's hamburger in Grandpa's car.
