a visit to maisonnette

Maisonnette opened in July. It is only an hour from my house. I finally went this week. What took me so long? They have done a wonderful job fixing up an old house and filling it with gorgeous fabrics and examples of fun project ideas.

Besides an innocent upset of the Goldfish snacks in the kitchen, Amelia loved shopping for fabric with Jill and playing with all the fun stuff they had there. Thanks Madeline and Ava for letting us take the store by storm with the kids, we all enjoyed it!

future architects

Do our kids have any choice? We think its in their blood to design and draft. So we thought we'd get them exposed early to the profession and take them to see Daddy at work. After a quick lunch in the park we headed up to the 20th floor to check out the office. Only time will tell if they will follow in our footsteps. : )

two years

Tomorrow will mark two years of me watching Morgan. I did this post last year, so I thought I'd keep up the tradition. : )
