her new place to playThe Neil & Eileen Adkins family all went out to the desert to visit with Great Grandpa and Great Grandma (GG's) and the Jakeabum's on Saturday. It was so nice to be with everyone out there - even though it was only for a few hours. Amelia had fun playing with Aunt Rose's 'Grandma Box' of toys, wearing them out a little before baby Blake comes. Sara and I got to see Brooke and Abigail's pictures of France, Ireland and England... fabulous! We also heard both GG's and their girls reminisce of old times back on the farm. Finally, we treated ourselves to Abigail's yummy coffee at It's A Grind before heading out of town.

I love little weekend trips like that. Amelia is enjoying what Lucas had...first Grandkid and all the attention. Yesterday I went through all my baby clothes and made a pile of baby boy things for you to go through if you want to see if there is anything you can use. So now we NEED to get together! :o)
Oh it was so much fun! Thanks all of you for taking the time to go out to Indio. It meant a lot to me and of course to GG's. Wish I had one of those cinnamon rolls right now! And a cup of that good coffee from It's a Grind!
