Mission San Juan Capistrano

Smithsonian Magazine sponsored Museum Day Live! on September 29th with free admission to several area museums. I've always wanted to go see Mission San Juan Capistrano so that is where we headed despite the hot temperature and Carmageddon II warnings (they closed the 405 freeway for the weekend up in LA and warned people not to go out driving... it was totally fine and clear down in Orange County). It was neat to see some California history and the kids favorite part was watching the koi swim laps around the fountain. : )
