Helping Papa make pine box derby cars, fashioned after a 1950 Chevy Fleetline and a 1955 Buick Roadmaster. |
Drilling the 4 holes in the Roadmaster to make it like Papa's. : ) |
Spraying it flat black like Uncle Drew's. We still haven't put the pin striping on yet! |
The finished product. |
Attending a concert of the Spokane Falls Community Band with our friend Phyllis. |
A weekend visit to help celebrate Aunt Jane's birthday. : ) |
It was so nice having Daddy here for a week of our visit. |
Dinner at Drew's, he made us an excellent meal of baked chimichanga's. Delish. |

LOVE the wooden cars. What a fun project to work on together. They look just like Uncle Drew's.
Haw! I love the album cover identity swap. Drew might have a green, hairy back, but he has some cool vinyl.
It was a great meal at Drew's home...Impressive! I especially like the beautiful sidewalk art drawn with lots of love...the car project turned out terrific! A Jane
