Moses Lake and a hike

The rest of our Inland Northwest trip blog posts will be heavily laden with pictures as we took a lot and enjoyed so much while we were up there! We spent a day in Moses Lake at Uncle Bill and Aunt Nancy's and had fun with our Portland cousins who were able to visit at the same time. The following day we headed to Coeur d'Alene and Uncle Drew took the kids and I on a hike. Some folks who read this blog may have been on this same hike earlier this spring. ; ) Then we cooled off in the lake with Jake, Emily and Oliver. Oliver sure is a cutie pie!

My cousin Amy made this doorway puppet show for her nieces. Pretty neat!

Uncle Bill helping Amelia play my Grandma Marti's old violin.

Heading up to Mineral Ridge.

Exploring an old mining cave. It really wasn't very big, they gave up looking for gold somtime in the early 1920's here but left us a good place to eat a snack in the shade.

The long awaited view from the top. Worth it!

That seaweed wrap is a good look for you, Drew! You got a sunnier day for Mineral Ridge. If I had to hike it today I might just start crying : ) And what a cute puppet show for the kids to play with!!!

Save that photo of Wyatt in the sand to look at on days when he's super wiggly...
